Hi Everyone!! It’s my turn again to select the Darling Girl Cosmetics Pick of the Week (POTW)!!!!

What’s that you ask?? The POTW is an item from Darling Girl Cosmetics that is selected by one of the Darling Girls as a favorite. The Sparkle Queen Susan gives you 20% off of our fave for about a week (sometimes they get extended).

What did I pick?? A good one!!!!!!

Haze is this week's Darling Girl Cosmetics Pick of the Week!! 20% Off

Haze is this week’s Darling Girl Cosmetics Pick of the Week!! 20% Off

I selected Haze, which is a Spectral Shift. The Darling Girl Spectral Shifts are loose pigment blends that can be used in several ways. You can apply them as eyeshadow, highlighter, blush, or whatever else you can think of. These are gorgeously shifty colors! Haze is described on the Darling Girl Cosmetics website as “…a beautiful taupe with violet shift and purple and red iridescence”. I own quite a few of them. I prefer to use them as eyeshadow. I do use them less frequently as cheek highlight as well.

L-R: Haze Spectral Shift, Moondust Diamond Dust, and Black Day (discontinued)

Of course I always manage to use a discontinued shade. If you are looking for something close to Black Day, I’d say Goth Princess is a good substitute. They don’t look terrible similar at first but when Black Day is rubbed down, it looks pretty close. Goth Princess is more sparkly too, and there’s no such thing as too much sparkle!!

If you are in need of Haze, I suggest hurrying up to get it since this week’s GWP (gift with purchase) is Pumpkin Frappe and looks amazing! ANNNNNND, Pretty Mistakes are baaaaaaaaaaack!! Pretty Mistakes are unique colors that get blended by accident, or they are a forgotten recipe… they are a great way to load up on Darling Girl awesomeness on the cheap!! Even Susan’s mistakes are gorgeous!! LOLOL ^_^
