Are you a lucky Vanishing Cabinet subscriber? I was lucky to snag a spot in the Notoriously Morbid Vanishing Cabinet subscription program. Every month, I get my beautiful set of limited edition (LE) products.
So far every set of pretties has come with a sneak peek into the theme for the next month’s VC. I also love that the Vanishing Cabinet also gives me a chance to try out some new to me indie companies.
There is a group of promo models called the Morbid Mavens. One of my dearest friends, Andrea from Addicted to the Allure of Beauty, is also part of the group. We have been kicking around the idea of a collaboration for a long time. We finally sorted out a full idea and will be sharing looks with you using a shade from the Vanishing Cabinet. For this first installment (hopefully of many more to come!) we chose Compton.
“Compton-Like the dusty gray of a confederate uniform with its tarnished gold buttons, this shadow represents Bill’s nobility and honor.”
Compton is not a shade that I would go to right away. For some reason, I rarely wear green. Same with Andrea, so we decided to love on this underappreciated color.
I used Compton on the lid, Lost in L.A. in the crease and blended with Milani Cosmetics Bella Ivory and Wet ‘N Wild Brulee. The inner corner shade is called Creepy Green Light, which is no longer available from Notoriously Morbid. Creepy Green Light was a color of the month (COTM) special shade. Lips are JCat Beauty.
